Octapus Solution ("we", "us") builds and operates software products. This policy covers this website — what it collects from visitors and what we do with it.
It does not cover data inside our products. When a business uses Octa Punch, that business decides what employee data goes in and why; we hold and process it on their instructions under the agreement signed with them.
What we collect
When you send us a message. The contact form asks for your name and email address, and optionally your phone number, company, subject and the product you are asking about. Your message is stored with it. We also record the IP address and browser user agent the submission came from, so we can identify and block automated spam.
Nothing else. This site runs no analytics, no advertising pixels and no third-party trackers. We do not buy contact lists and we do not build a profile of you.
Cookies
This site sets a session cookie so that forms work securely — it carries the token that proves a submitted form came from your own browser. If you sign in to an account here, a second cookie keeps you signed in and remembers whether the sidebar is open. That is the full list. There are no advertising or analytics cookies to consent to.
Why we hold it, and for how long
We use what you send to reply to you and to keep a record of the conversation. That is the only purpose.
We keep contact submissions while the enquiry is active and for as long as we may reasonably need the history of it. Ask us to delete yours and we will, unless we are required to keep it.
Who else sees it
Our own team, and the infrastructure providers that host this site and deliver our email. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.
Your choices
Write to hello@octapussolution.com to ask what we hold about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted. Tell us which email address you used so we can find the record.
Changes
If this policy changes we will replace it on this page. Material changes are dated here rather than announced by email, so check back if it matters to you.
