Attendance lives on the device, leave on paper, overtime in one spreadsheet and salary in another. Closing a month means someone retyping punches, arguing about overtime, and printing pay slips nobody can audit. One wrong cell corrupts the whole sheet, and the only person who knows why is the one who typed it.
How it works
What happens in Octa Punch, in the order the factory does it.
Punch
ZKTeco devices push every fingerprint punch into the system live, or a raw log is imported in bulk.
Daily card
Punches are paired into worked hours per employee. Break time is subtracted, overtime derived from the shift standard, odd days queued for review.
Review
HR clears the review queue: missed punches, half-days, approved leave, holidays — each a lookup, not an argument.
Salary sheet
The month computes itself: earned salary, overtime, attendance bonus. Advances, deductions and allowances are picked on the draft.
Approve and pay
Draft → submitted → approved → paid → locked, with an audit trail on every change and a role for every step.
Pay slips and reports
Bilingual PDF slips emailed or printed four to an A4 page. Payroll, overtime and attendance reports to Excel, PDF or CSV.
